The Harley Street Alliance is a members' only alliance of central London healthcare clinics that expects its members to provide their patients and customers with first-class standards in customer service. Through the consolidation of this service commitment with a long tradition of clinical excellence, the Harley Street name is being powerfully promoted to the world.
Mission
The Alliance is raising global awareness of some of the UK's most respected clinics and clinicians, facilitating access to a world-class independent healthcare service.
Governance
The Alliance is operated on a day-to-day basis by a management team comprising business and marketing professionals with long experience of communications in the healthcare sector. A Steering Group comprising members drawn from a wide spectrum of medical specialties meet monthly to approve membership and to advise on Alliance initiatives.
Communications
By providing the corporate voice for “Harley Street PLC”, the Harley Street Alliance creates a force for advocacy that facilitates far more than any single clinic, or small group of clinics, could accomplish alone. The Alliance is working for its members to:
- enhance relationships with government and NGOs, the Department of Health, London First, UK Trade & Industry and the various Embassies;
- understand the needs of international consumers in search of access to world class health services;
- offer a range of marketing communications services including access to consumer-focused health initiatives using the Internet and emerging communication technologies.
